We wish to inform our members that sunny days are here again for our Samaj. As is clear from the sites red banner, we have been successful in achieving
Charitable Status for our Samaj which came into effect from 30th June 2010.
The Executive Management Committee and the Holding Trustees of our
Samaj wishes our Samaj and all our members a prosperous new beginning. Now that we have acquired this status, we intend to seek help of the Charities
Commission, to become more efficient and more effective in achieving our
charitable aims and goals. In addition we shall also seek its help in ironing
out any adversities that we have already encountered in the past and put in
safeguards for the future, so that such undesirable situations do not occur. |

Welcome to Shree Gurjar Kshatriya Samaj, Leicester, U. K website. Our new website was launched on 5th November 2005.
Our aim is to provide our Samaj members a common platform for communication links together with news and events of issues relating to SGKS, Leicester, and U.K. The principle objective is to promote and create cohesive community relations, not only amongst our Samaj members (majority of whom reside in Leicester), but also other communities at large. This can be achieved via celebrating religious Hindu festivals, enhancing our cultural, educational and sporting skills of our members in order to create an environment where individuals are given opportunities to realise their potential. |
